Hiram Bingham wagons are distinguished by their blue and gold colors for its warm and cozy interiors that feature elegant upholstery. This service has four wagons, two dining wagon, an observation wagon with bar and a car, kitchen, besides being able to carry up to 84 passengers.

Between January 2 and April 30, 2021 and 2022, PeruRail operate the Bimodal Service (Bus + Train), a service that combines bus and train travel, departing and returning to Cusco City. During this period: The Hiram Bingham bimodal service includes a private bus departing from Wanchaq Station (located 5 minutes away from Cusco City Center) and arriving to Rio Sagrado, A Belmond Hotel. From there, passengers board a train to their final destination: Machu Picchu Pueblo Station. The Hiram Bingham service runs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The inbound journey includes bus transfer to passengers’ hotels located in Cusco’s city center.
